Offering a rare antique sterling silver whiskey flask by Gorham. This lovely rare flask features a heavy though intricate basket weave pattern over a thick hand blown glass flask. The extremely fine silver workmanship extends the entire body of the piece and is topped by a swirl shaped Art Nouveau style lid. The lid twists to open/close and it retains it’s original cork. Signed, Gorham, Sterling, star mark, 1888. Making this flask 134 years old. Measuring 6 5/8″ Tall, 3 5/8″ Wide and Weighing a hefty 510.1 grams or 17.99 oz. The condition is mint. The platter is in very nice condition with no dings or dents, there is normal surface scratches. There is no monogram. Scalloped edge design with floral decoration center. The tray measures 14. The weight is 957 grams or 30.79 troy oz. It is marked on the back MAPPINS (high end retailer), J in chevron (assume date code but can not find it), the Birks logo and STERLING. Very Rare & Large Gilt Sterling Perfume Bottle Flask Kerr Demon Fantasy 1890’s

Offering a very rare Art Nouveau gilt sterling silver perfume bottle or flask by William Kerr, Newark, New Jersey. Created late 19th century. This amazing perfume is designed with full bodied mermaids, sea monsters, sea shells and ocean waves. Fabricated from gilded sterling silver in bulbous form with heavy base. In all my years of collecting Art Nouveau Fantasy genre sterling silver, I have never seen anything like this piece. The piece is finished on both side and the repousse workmanship is incredible. Monogrammed in fancy script. Measuring 5 1/4″ Tall, 4″ Wide, 2 1/2 Deep and Weighing a hefty 127.5 grams 4.49 oz. The condition is excellent. The only thing to mention is some denting to the lid and the lid’s edge. All other repousse work has been spared any damage. The gilding appears fresh and bright as when manufactured. The lid opens and closes properly with a twist. The original cork is present. Please see my other listings. Large Very Rare Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Chatelaine Fantasy Purse Gorham 1901

Offering a very rare Art Nouveau sterling silver Mythological chatelaine purse by the Gorham Mfg. There are so many design elements I don’t know where to begin. To start with the chatelaine clip, it’s oversized and depicts St. George on horse back slaying the dragon. Great pierced open workmanship. At the top of the purse is Neptune with three horns emerging from his head and an intertwined snake there as well. Below him a central cherub head that serves as the release mechanism to open the purse and he is flanked by ocean waves. On the either side of him are mermaids and mermen lovers and those playing musical instruments not to mention two sea monsters. The alligator or snake skin bag is original to the piece. Signed, Gorham, sterling and bearing their hour glass symbol for the year, 1901. Measuring: The entirety, 12 1/4″ Tall, the purse 9 1/4″ Tall, 6 3/4 Wide and Weighing 263.8 grams or a hefty 9.36 oz. The condition is excellent. No damage to the sterling silver. The leather bag shows some wear as you would expect from a natural material such as leather but, overall better than most. There is evidence of a monogram having once graced the front of the bag. Inside I see a couple of small holes in the fabric where the frame opens and closes, the rest looks good and clean. The patina is wonderful. The rarity and condition of this exceptional antique purse make it an especially attractive offering. Please see my other listings. Vintage Asian Very Large Serving Platter Rare. 950 Sterling Silver No Stamp

We will no longer accept cancellations. For sale is a Vintage sterling silver large serving platter. This appears to be Asian in origin and features a rare. This is in good overall pre-owned condition. There is one small ding on one of the handles. Please view the pictures. This was recently professionally polished. This platter is hard to get pictures of the surface due to its highly reflective and mirror like finish. The reflection you see on the platter is from the wall it was reflecting from and not the actual surface. The surface shows surface scratches but that is it with regards to wear. Size: 27 handle to handle; 18 x 12.75 in. Of usable space on the platter. Inscription: Sterling 950, There are no visible makers marks. This is an amazing set of sterling, onyx and marcasite jewelry. The necklace is a vintage sterling large black onyx and marcasite pendant necklace. I have loved it and warn it with many compliments.
