Very rare paris porcelain Caen manufacture large pompadour ground bowl and stand c1795. Caen porcelaine is highly desirable because of the rarity and I don’t think I have come across a finer example from this factory then this set! The quality of the decoration is superb. The stand is inscribed”Guerre a l’inconstance”. Condition is excellent with no damage. Bowl measures 2.5” inches tall and 5” inches in diameter around the top. The colors are excellent and this lamp is HUGE, measuring 16″ across and 10″ from top to bottom. There are no chips, cracks or repairs that I can see anywhere. The lamp works great.
