This is for a very rare Capitol Records dome store display. I believe it dates from somewhere in the late 1940s to early 1950s. There are very few of these left in existence. It was meant to go out front of a record store. It is a very heavy plaster casting. I have only ever seen 1 other example of these. It is a very rare and unusual iconic display piece. It has some repairs to cracks and a chip off of the “a”. It is plaster so it can be refurbished well. Please check out all the images to see the exact condition.
