From Jan Barboglio’s description: “Bubbles, ripples, or variations in size and imperfections are to be considered treasured and natural”. Jan Barboglio is one of my favorite designers and I have acquired quite a large collection over the years. Inspired by the romance of historic Mexico, Jan Barboglio creates stunning decorative iron accessories featuring glass, wood, or porcelain accents. Each piece is cut, fashioned, forged, and finished by hand, and accompanied by a beautiful decorative metal tag. Her collection is carried at Neiman Marcus and a select number of high-end home decorative stores. I have loved using it, and never thought that I would sell it, but I no longer have room for it in my kitchen. It can be used to stylishly store or display many types of items including cookies, of course! A note on condition: There is some chipping (rough edge) on the glass all along the inside rim of the glass jar. This is not very noticeable when the lid is placed atop the jar. Other than the above noted issue, the glass is in excellent condition and any reflections appearing on the glass are from the camera flash.
