XL Super 7 Chevron Amethyst RARE Very Large Crystal Sphere with Stand. This one belonged to designer Tom Ford. Super 7 is a type of gemstone that is a combination of seven different minerals: Amethyst, clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Lepidocrocite, and Goethite. These gemstones are often found together in a single crystal, creating a beautiful and unique gemstone with a wide range of colors and properties. Super 7, also known as Sacred Seven or Melody’s Stone, is considered a very rare gemstone, especially of this quality. To carve a super 7 sphere, a lapidary will use a saw to cut the rough gemstone into a rough sphere shape, then use a grinder and a series of increasingly fine grits of abrasive powders to sand and polish the surface of the sphere until it has a smooth finish. You lose around 3-4x the amount of stone when carving a sphere.

LETEITE: Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. Dimensions: 3.3 x 2.8 x 0.8cm, miniature. Leiteite is a beautiful, but very rare zinc arsenate mineral from Tsumeb discovered and characterized in 1977. This is an exceptional specimen consisting of a large crystal section that is transparent to translucent with a lovely lavender color, an almost pearly luster and a greasy feel! It’s micaceous in character and even looks almost like pinkish Muscovite. This piece exhibits distinct and broad crystal faces on the front and back, but is truncated and unterminated at the top. Thread Phantoms were the Rarest type of Phantom found at this location. This is from a New Find in the winter of 2017 By me and a Friend and Majestic Minerals will have the Largest and Best Selection from this New Find. The Location was a Construction Site in Little Rock, Arkansas and is closed to digging due to Houses being built on the site. Caesar Crystal Bohemiae extremely rare and highly collectible limited series “Peacock” 8 tall decorative blue vase, authentic top quality hand made 24% lead content crystal from the Czech Republic. CAESAR CRYSTAL BOHEMIAE Company specializes in manufacturing colourful cased crystal with a 24% PbO (lead oxide)content, which is made by connecting the layer of clear crystal and the layer of colourful crystal at temperatures around 800°C. The spectacular results of this manufacturing process requires the talent of the best and most skilful glassmakers.
