Very Rare Large Ww1 Trench Single Button Chronograph Calendar Mens Watch Runs
Here is a very rare to find large vintage WW1 single push button trench calendar chronograph mens watch. The watch is missing the stem so I have not been able to check running – it seems to be running and the balance wheel is running very well. The case is base metal and shows some discoloration but no dings or dents and all the covers close nice and tight. The dial is also in very good condition with no hairlines and just showing a chip on the outer rim (not really seen when the bezel is in place). The watch still has the original bullseye crystal in place in very good clear condition with no damage. The watch is quite large at 45mm in diameter and 67mm in length. Rare watch for that special collection. This item is in the category “Jewelry & Watches\Watches, Parts & Accessories\Watches\Wristwatches”. The seller is “nec090362″ and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.

I think it is probably a silveroid case, and the crystal is very clean. This is a very nice rare pocket watch that anyone will be proud to own. A great gift idea… In 1866, right around the time that John C. Adams from Waltham Watch Company joined a partnership that spawned the Elgin National Watch Company, he went to Rockford, Illinois with the idea of opening a factory there. The residents of the town were not enthusiastic about the idea and the entrepreneur took his idea to Elgin, Illinois. In its 39 years of operation, the company manufactured just under 1 million watches half of which were produced between 1902 and 1915.
