Gorgeous large 19THc Silver Rosary Annunciation twisted purple beads very rare
Rare and gorgeous large french antique ” Annunciation ” rosary, from 19THc. Made of sterling silver (chain, center and cross) and beautiful twisted beads. 59 beads in total, 6 Paters are caped, a center, embossed, ornate with an Annunciation on the obverse and a portrait of the Virgin Mary on the reverse side, and an embossed cross crucifix. French silver hallmarks are present on the center and on the cross. Very rare and elegant model. Condition: It is in a very nice antique condition, see photos. Total lenght is 21 7/8 / 55,5 cm long. The necklace portion measures 31 1/2 / 80 cm. Cross 1 5/8″ x 1″ / 41 mm x 25 mm. Diameter of the beads: 3. /8 / 10 mm. Vintage Large Staffordshire WB&C England Blue Willow Platter, Very Rare Mark
This is a beautiful example of transferware. There are imperfections that make each piece uniquely made. This plate is 11-1/8 x 13-3/4. There is a small chip about 1/8 on the back of the platter. Very hard to notice, unless you are looking for it. There are natural waves in the outer shape of the platter. Photo #5 shows what looks like a chip on the front, but it is completely smooth so I’m not sure. Photo #6 is where the pattern meets. Photo #7 is a line in the design.
