Very Rare Late 1930s-Early 1940s Harley-Davidson Large Wing in Gold-Plated Brass
ARTIFACT: This is a very rare large size circa late 1930s – early 1940s wing for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Incredibly enough, the legend that is Harley-Davidson started in the Midwest in 1903 in a wooden shed. The wing is in gilt brass. VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s or early 1940s. SIZE: Approximately 13/16″ in height and 3″ in width. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt brass, painted lettering. ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue-style C catch. ITEM NOTES: This is from a motorcycle collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
