Very Rare Restored Antique Pond Schooner Yacht. Potentially Victorian or Edwardian pond yacht. Configuration here is as a Schooner, maybe Brig but looking at the deck over the years she has had many variations. Masks are not original I would think and look to have been added later. Very heavy item helped by the entire length lead keel. Copper rudder free moving and looks to be original. Sympathetically stripped to reveal her past, sections of previous paint work remain. She has been waxed to protect her and to enhance the colours that remain. 82cm long x 89cm tall on stand x 13cm wide. Bespoke Perspex stand gives the impression of floating. Slight split in stand but doesnt detract from presentation. This is arguably a piece of English history, a rare find, a unique item, a sound investment.
