I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE U. Im offering today an Adorable and hard to find large baby doll by Ideal called Baby Coos produced in 1959. This is a large baby doll with beautiful face, all vinyl body and precious auburn hair cut into short baby cut. Oh my goodness, wait till you see this doll in person. She is truly a beautiful doll and hard to believe she is from the year 1959. I will start at the top of the doll and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description. Starting at the top of her head, she has auburn hair which is cut into a short baby cut which frames her face beautifully. The large bow around her head was designed and created by me so it would match her dress. The ribbon is heavy grosgrain in pink color which is tied into a big bow attached to a pale pink elastic hair band which allows it to remain securely on the dolls head. It looks sooooo adorable! As you go down to her face, she has single brown line for eyebrows. She has dark green colored open close sleep eyes with long eyelashes which have been spared from the hands of her previous little mommies. Her eyes open and close freely and have such a precious look to them. She has a dainty little nose with open nostrils for realism which flows down to her rose bud shape lips. Her lips are painted dark peach color with open mouth. Obviously this is most rare to have a doll from this era without bottle hole in mouth for drinking fluids. After doing some research, this was normal for this doll design. Her cheeks have beautiful coloring to blend well with her beautiful bright eyes. This doll is all vinyl with jointed arms and legs. Her head is jointed and can be posed in many different poses as you can see from photos. The back of her neck is hallmarked: Ideal Doll Co. Her back has the same hallmarks. Now to her adorable dress I chose for her debut. This is a designer dress by Boutique Biscotti and is oh so precious. The pale pink dress (which is my favorite color) has a drop neckline which is accented with delicate pale pink ruffled fabric. The cap sleeves are covered with delicate ruffled fabric which flows down the front of the fitted dress. There are layers upon layers of ruffled fabric which are accented with silk flowers and pale pink silk ribbon. As you go to the back side of the dress there are three tiny buttons to keep the dress closed. There is a delicate pink tie which allows you to tighten the dress to fit the form of the doll. The dress falls down to just above the ankle which allows the custom made shoes to peek through. The dress is fully lined with sheer pink fabric and is another well made creation by Biscotti. Under her dress she wears pale pink panties which came with the beautiful dress. She is wearing pale pink ruffled socks with custom designed shoes to match her dress. The shoes are “T” strap design with side buckle. I added delicate pink chiffon flowers to cover the top of each shoe. They peek out from underneath the bottom hem line of the dress. This adorable baby doll will come with her very own pale pink plush bunny rabbit to keep her company. She has been in my collection for many years and over the course of years I clean my dolls and try to avoid them from ageing by doing so. They are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough. My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy. All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children. Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, I’ve tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll. We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor. Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth having; for each one is like children….. They are all beautiful in their mothers eyes. If I’ve missed something it would never be intentional. This is a large size baby doll standing approximately 21 tall. Her plush pink bunny rabbit measures approximately 9 tall. This doll in my opinion is in good condition. Her face has beautiful coloring and her large green eyes open and close freely. Her eyelashes are full and thick. Her vinyl is nice and soft and in very good condition. Her designer dress was chosen for this special doll and is new.
