Lamp which is more a sculpture by Carlos Zipperer It is fitting well in modern interior and will look gorgeous on a sideboard or a side table To set a eyecatcher. We sell this Lamp as not working! The electric has to be revised – but that is easy the electric is very simple and can be done by every local electrician. The lamp has old repairs and some age related cuts in the wood so it is from the 30s, the cabel comes out on the other side of the lamp not on the hole that was made for it i dont know why they done this but can be changed again. Up on offer here is this Superb and very rare early 1930s large industrial factory office desk lamp featuring a large ventilated heavy Opaline globe shade, and a rare three bulb lay out design. All original; Stunning period lamp.. “Please scroll down for details”. Large stool design base incorporating the large circular gallery with the original securing bolts. Built within the gallery is a very unusual central stanchion type three branch pillar structure, each branch with its original bronze E22 bayonet fit bulb holder. Very large heavy Opaline cased glass globe shade with Roman design sky light ventilation feature. Later fitted with a 1940s black Bakelite flat inline replacement ON /OFF switch. Later fitted with a 1940s MK Bakelite three round pin replacement plug with a cord grip. Recently professionally rewired with silk braided two core twist cable, tested, and in perfect working order. Three E22 bayonet fit bulbs. Modern wall socket adaptors are widely available. D dimensioned as follows. Desk Heigh: 46 cm. Base Ø: 21.5 cm. Globe Height: 31 cm. Globe Ø: 30 cm. Gallery Ø: 17 cm.
