11 1/2 Antique All Bisque German Doll Very, Very Rare Large Size

This is a very rare 11 1/2 all bisque antique doll. She has some minor flaws but is so rare it is easy to over look the little problems. She has a mold flaw on the side of her head, some tiny flea bites on the top of one leg & a line on one thumb (may have been glued) I have made several photos to show her little imperfections. I think for a collector of all bisque dolls she would be the star, absolutely outstanding!! Her wig appears to be original & her gown is also antique. Rare Louis Doleac antique French Fashion doll in very rare large size 24

Here is a beautiful and very rare French Fashion doll by Louis Doleac in an ultra-rare large size – 24 tall. She has two hairlines in her forehead with well done stabilization (see photos) but otherwise is beautiful. She has lovely blue eyes, pale coloring and slight smile. Her shoulderplate is marked L Depose 6 D and she has her original spring in her swivel head. She is on a kid and cloth body that I have secured with a layer of muslin over her torso. Fingers are frail but all present. She wears chemise, petticoat and drawers and a wonderfully styled chestnut brown mohair wig. There is no pate. She has old black stockings and oilcloth black button boots. I made her entire walking suit by hand with 100 silk and the jacket is fully lined. All the bias self trim was a labor of love! The buttons are 100+ years old. Design is from Sylvia MacNeil’s book (Justine) on French Fashion costumes. I also hand stitched her matching straw hat with fabric trim from the dress. GREAT ANTIQUE VERY LARGE & EARLY GERMAN PAPIER MACHE DOLL RARE! Exposed Ears

This doll is believed to be an early German Papier Mache shoulder head doll from the mid or early 1800s. The doll is unmarked. She is 31 tall! The doll has a unique expression , black hair, exposed ears, and blue painted eyes. She has kid leather arms that appear to go all the way up to the shoulders. I have not completely undressed her, but the leather is intact at least passed her elbows. She has a cloth body which appears to be original and in good condition but may have been replaced over the years. The clothes are old but again, I cannot determine if they are original. The clothes are in fairly good condition with some tearing of the lace. Her face has multiple rubs and one larger chip on the forehead. There is some loss of coloring on her cheeks but they eyes are still very vibrant. All of these imperfections should be evident in the pictures. All of her fingers are in tact.
