Please checking over the next few weeks as there will be regular additions. I started with some of the larger Christmas molds since we are so close to Christmas. EARLY HORSE CHOCOLATE MOULD. This early tin mould was used in a chocolate shop for molding 3-dimensional pieces of chocolate in the shape of a horse. The subject is one of the more unusual ones and the size is stupendous. It is a nice old mold. It is unmarked , but is the flange of a Sommet from Paris. It is a nice unusually large mold, probably used to mold a stunning display piece. It measures 9″ tall x 10″ wide. This is an 1880s pewter mold of a boy with cornucopia including the base plate. It all fits together very well and it tight when on the plate. It measures 10.5″ wide 9″ tall and 5.5 deep. This is a nice old piece and is in very good original condition. The pins have been replaced with heavy copper wire and a nail. It’s a very good looking piece and displays well.
