Up on offer here is this quite rare 1930s art deco marbled glass rimless neckless tinted Opaline pendant light fixture. Very “RARE” piece of genuine Deco lighting.. Please scroll through all 12 images for full details and dimensions. Rare, original and quite unique piece of original period lighting. Tiered rimless acorn design in desert sand with brown dust cloud colour scheme. 1940s monk cap fittings with interior locking plate and a ventilated chrome plated cap canopy. Original brassB-22 bayonet fit bulb holder. 1940s original chrome plated central tubular column shaft with a base copper locking ring. Polished aluminium alloy deco ceiling plate fittings. Freshly re-wired in period three-core 75mm coated cable, earthed, tested, and in perfect working order. Ready for installation, No other parts required other than a space on the ceiling, and a couple of suitable screws. Absolutely beautiful when lit. For dimensions, please see images. This beautiful vintage piece is in excellent condition and has been kept in my collection for quite some time. Hallmarks are in the right place on the 16 inch T&C chain. The Red enamel 925 Apple is made to be on the chain and not to slip off leaving the Hallmark to be on the necklace itself. Id not recommend to turn this into a bracelet charm as its too large, in my opinion, and youd be chancing ruining this highly sought after rare find. If youre wanting to give (or receive) an extremely special gift or to finally find this piece and add to your collection heres your chance. This is definitely one that will be appreciated and adored. This piece came out, if Im not mistaken, around the time that the watermelon and the lemon and even the lipstick came out. I guess Im showing my age.
