Rare Quality Very Large 16.5 Meissen Farmer & Cow Figural Ploughing Group
A substantial sized, rare Meissen Farmer & two cows figural ploughing group. This Meissen group was first modelled by Otto Pilz in 1906. A beautiful & unusual piece to add to any porcelain collection. Fully marked with the Meissen blue cross swords and impressed numerals to the base. This Meissen group is in great display condition but one cow has lost the top of its horn and the other horn on this same cow has been restored. The original chains are no longer present but replacement chains have been added. Most Meissen pieces have some damage or restoration, this is listed for full accuracy and this piece still displays beautifully. I package every item extremely well and have not had any breakages to date. This is because they are the only UK service to offer protection for damage on ceramics and glass.
