An exquisite, rare antique piano shawl, lavishly hand embroidered, with very large red roses, dating from the 1920’s. It is 58 inches square with an additional 16 inches of hand knotted fringe. The floral embroidery is in red, pink, lavender, old rose, teal, blue, and browns. It is heavy and weighs 3 pounds. There are a few places where blue embroidery has faded. It needs a trip to a specialty dry cleaner as there looks to be a spill near the middle. There is one hole, about 1/4 in long, near the fringe. There are some loose embroidery threads. Expect wear and condition commiserate with age and storage. Please look at pics carefully as I have attempted to describe this spectacular piano shawl as accurately as possible. Up for sale is a beautiful Truffle Louise all leather handbag with a special touch it has zippered roses! I have yet to see another bag with zippered roses…. Also the Louise Rose with zippers in the front does not come with roses… Much less zippered roses… I added them because I thought it was a nice touch. The bag also has a large letter pocket in the back.. And it is very roomy on the inside.. With a large zipper pocket on one wall, and a jewelry pocket on the other side with 2 slide pockets, and a key leash. This is a very elegant handbag.. The pictures do not do it justice… Dress it up or dress it down.. PS the zippers on the front are actual indivisual pockets not just ornamental. Comes with sleeper bag and Zipper Roses.
