Vintage Asian Very Large Serving Platter Rare. 950 Sterling Silver No Stamp

We will no longer accept cancellations. For sale is a Vintage sterling silver large serving platter. This appears to be Asian in origin and features a rare. This is in good overall pre-owned condition. There is one small ding on one of the handles. Please view the pictures. This was recently professionally polished. This platter is hard to get pictures of the surface due to its highly reflective and mirror like finish. The reflection you see on the platter is from the wall it was reflecting from and not the actual surface. The surface shows surface scratches but that is it with regards to wear. Size: 27 handle to handle; 18 x 12.75 in. Of usable space on the platter. Inscription: Sterling 950, There are no visible makers marks. Jan Barboglio Stunning Large Rosa Serving Bowl Retired & Very Rare

JAN BARBOGLIO BEAUTIFUL and Large “ROSA Laurel” Serving Bowl RETIRED & VERY RARE Includes Barboglio’s Makers Mark in #10 photo. Whether used as a serving piece or a display piece it will not go unnoticed! STUNNING hand forged exquisite metal work by Jan Barboglio. This piece is a statement maker and is looks much larger than it’s dimensions, as stated below. This piece is in excellent used condition. None of the items mentioned below affect the use of this piece and cannot be seen unless looking for them. It’s important to mention them when discussing a piece as fine as this one by Jan Barboglio. It has some area’s that lack patina due to light dusting over the years, as shown in the photos. This is normal age related wear. The photos show some spots which is dust on the higher reaches of the petals. There is what looks like a chalk line on the bottom of the piece. The ceramic bowl is “Made in Portugal by Fapor” and has never held any food or liquids. There is no crazing or visible scratches. The photos shows markings on the bottom, outside ring of the bowl where it sits in the iron base. Please note in pictures that the bowl was soldered at a slight angle. It is not obvious in most of the pictures and is noticeable only at certain angles. This is a very rare piece and this is the nature of handmade products. The height of the iron piece is 10-1/2″ and 11″ with the bowl in place. Iron bowl is just over 13-1/4 in diameter. Ceramic bowl is 15-1/2 in diameter. The base of the piece is 7 square.
