Impressive and rare 14 yo from not grafted Acer palmatum Shiraname. Very unusual as a bonsai. Shiraname is a very old and rare to find cultivar. This amazing tree goes through a wide spectrum of beautiful color changes. In the early spring, shiraname leaves out in red and then changes into a brownish-yellow tone through summer. The new growth continues to have red over yellow undertones which make for a truly amazing contrast. The fall color for shiraname ranges from peach to bright orange. A very special cultivar and specimen for your collection. It is the buyers responsibility to become informed of their local/state restrictions.
