Jacket has a small repair patch on the back of the right arm, and slight delaminating on the the inner waistline around the fasteners (see photos). The lamination is not visible, as they are on the interior of the jacket, and do not have any impact on the function of the jacket. Other than that, the piece is in good condition considering its age. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SEND ANY OFFERS.

In summer 1966 Walt Disney personally opened Disneyland’s newest land. While most shops and restaurants began operating, the ride “Pirates of the Caribbean” was not. Offered here is one complete LARGE shopping bag from those days. Black printed on gold shimmering paper. Exquisite black line drawings of the sights of the new land are handsomely illustrated. Pirates would not open until April in the following year, 1967. A beautiful and cool sixties item from Disneyland. NOTE: This is a good size Large Bag. Not tiny like the others. Around 18 x 16 inches, was once folded, art is intact, bag is complete, Printing on both sides and the color is bright and unfaded. The bag has been previously folded. Has since then been flattened. A Very Rare Large Galle Vase. A classical greek amphora shape. A layer of white glass intercalaire between internal clear glass and amber and burnt orange outer layers. Also depicting chrysanthemum flowers and leaves. Twin applied mottled clear glass handles. Incribed on the base. Cristallerie De Galle Nancy depose. Around a depiction of a chrysanthemum. On some of the earliest glass vases Galle would include a picture of the main decorative theme on the underside of the foot. This is one of just a few examples that I have seen during my entire career outside of the Musee des beax arts in Nancy. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
