Fornasinius higginsi, large male, Goliath beetle. This specimen has broken/missing tarsal claws on the left front and rear legs. Please see last two photos for details. Also, there is a small indentation on the right elytron, probably a predator’s tooth mark, that you can see in the #5 photo. This specimen is freshly caught and has no pin holes – never mounted. This single male is considerably larger and will make a nice addition to any collection. The specimen will come with collecting data. New information: this specimen has been repaired and the right rear tarsus is replaced with that of an indeterminate species. Make me your best offer on this specimen, which is still a rare species to have in your collection.
