Original WW2/Korean Size Large WWII USMC Frog skin Type Camouflage Combat Trousers Non- reversibile Note the WWII US Army Type T-Post “Star” Buttons Fine+ to Near Very Fine Condition This type of frog skin pattern camouflage combat trousers date back to WWII in the Pacific when the US Marines and the US Army were trying to devise a camouflage scheme for combat fatigue uniforms and overalls to be used in the sand and jungle hells of the Pacific island hopping campaigns against the Japanese. I believe these date to the Korean War and no later than the early Vietnam War. I don’t think they date to WWII, but they might…… Each pant leg has one buttoned deep pocket. All buttons are present. All seams are intact. The fly and the side-adjuster round metal t-post “star” buttons are all present and in excellent condition with no corrosion and 99% paint. The “USA” marked Rapid brand brass metal zipper is also in excellent condition. The pant cuffs are in good condition There is no tag or marked size that I could find. The material is cotton twill. Waist: 36 to 38 inches, Inseam: 32-34 inches. The waist has adjusters at the sides to draw it in to 36 if need be… These combat trousers are not reproductions, were made in the USA and are original to the period.
