It is in Very Good Condition for being over 3 DECADES OLD! The only flaws are a series of tiny holes, most of them 1/16th of an inch or less in size. The one at the tip of the sharpie pen is about 1/4th in. There is one that is a tiny one 1/16th in. Just to the left of that one. At the bottom of the front of the shirt, down below the yellow tape measure, there are about 8 of those tiny 16th in. Or less holes, and 2 more of that size, in the bottom of the left arm-pit, (the one directly to the right of Rosebud). ” These are all barely-noticeable, and give this DEAD-LOT VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE some “character! Also, to show how vintage it is, on the back of the collar, there are 4 tiny holes where the tag shows through slightly (please see photos). Despite Doug Irwin going’all out’ for Tiger, guitar technology only improved throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. Hard at work again, Irwin created’Rosebud’ for Garcia at the end of the 1980’s, with built-in MIDI controls. The guitar was the spiritual twin of Tiger, though weighed a full two pounds lighter with a hollowed out maple core. Excluding some swapping out of pickups, Garcia never modified Rosebud in its years of use. The inlay was initially named’The Saint,’ but was nicknamed Rosebud by Garcia himself. The guitar made its debut on New Years Eve of 1989, ushering in the new decade with style. Garcia used the guitar almost exclusively during the early 1990’s, until he was given Lightning Bolt in 1993. Lightning Bolt was out for repair, however, during the summer of 1995; thus, it was Rosebud that Garcia played on his final tour, including the second-to-last ever song that he played, “Black Muddy River”. This is the famous Grateful Dead Poster that was banned by the Radio City Music execs because they thought it was bad for their image. What is so unusual about this is it’s very large size. It advertised a series of concerts In October 1980. The dates were 10/22 thru 10/30. It is 38×54 inches or 3ft. It was removed by a New York City Transit Authority employee who was instructed to destroy it. It came from the 47-50th Street-Rockefeller Center subway station. Fortunately it has survived almost 40 years. It is framed in a black metal frame and covered in plexiglass. The plexiglass has about a 6 inch crack in the upper center part of it.
