Please checking over the next few weeks as there will be regular additions. I started with some of the larger Christmas molds since we are so close to Christmas. EARLY LIPIZAN HORSE CHOCOLATE MOULD. This early tin mould was used in a chocolate shop for molding 3-dimensional pieces of chocolate in the shape of a horse. The subject is one of the more unusual ones and the size is stupendous. It is a nice old mold with a curved flange to allow for greater realistic detail. There is an opening at the top of the head for pouring the chocolate into the mold. It is made by Anton Reiche of Dresden, Germany marked #8449. It is a nice unusually large mold, probably used to mold a stunning display piece. It measures 7″ tall x 9″ wide.
