Packaging: No original box, so will be well wrapped in bubble wrap and the outer carton will be filled with polystyrene peanuts or air pockets. This retired Swarovski crystal south sea shell belonged to the “South Seas” collection and is made from clear crystal. It is a gorgeous, true to life, glass copy of a real conch shell. Such a lovely ornament that will bring back any memories you may have of any South Pacific holidays in the past! It is large for this type of piece from Swarovski and, additionally, the use of smooth glass with the spikes of the conch attached made the design very ahead of its time. At that time Swarovski was concentrating on its silver crystal range, of which this is one, but most of the others did not use smooth glass, but rather a textured glass. The use of the smooth glass makes this shell a truly contemporary piece. It is extremely rare, so our suggestion is not to wait around. We looked high and low for this item, originally to create a trio of shells. In the end, we decided to sell each shell separately as they were all rare pieces. This is the only one we have left and won’t stay in our warehouse for long! At least this way, we can keep the actual price of the item as low as possible. We always use Australia Post Express Post or a courier service. This is so that we can be absolutely sure your item will arrive quickly. Also, in case there is a problem, Australia Post will open an investigation quickly and can usually find your item. Standard Post clients have to wait 30 days to open an investigation and this, in our opinion, is too long for the client to wait. Sometimes, we may be able to assist you with information. Of course if an item can be proven to have been damaged in transit, you can rest assured that it has been insured. We pack our parcels very carefully and have had no damage to date. If the item has been altered from the original item sent to you. If the item is damaged after it has been delivered to you. We can only reimburse you when the carrier has accepted responsibility for any damage, which means we will need many photos and a description to supply to them.
