Very Rare Hetian Jade Tiki Pendant Grade A Extra Large Size
Welcome to Golden Era and our incredible jade Tiki charms, made from exceptional and precious hetian jade. The owner of Golden Era, based in the UK but a New Zealand native, set out three years ago on a quest to find the best quality, best looking, hardest wearing and longest lasting jade mineral. We collected samples from all over the world and eventually we found what we were looking for? The best quality hetian jade that is untouched by artificial processes (classified as grade A). So we are proud to present these gorgeous New Zealand M? Ori designed charms, made from the very rare (and almost never seen) hetian jade. In order to be grade A, we have produced the stone from its original cut and simply polished it. The natural stone, in all its beauty shines through; the colour varies in different shades of green; inclusions are present adding different tones and character to every Tiki? Every one is different so the photos are just a guide. It means of course, that your Tiki is unique. In New Zealand and Asian cultures it is only grade A jade that is revered for its purity, harmony and protection. In our three-year search we came across some examples of pure green tikis (and some other colours), smooth to the touch and, in some cases, light. Many were attractive but all of them cheap. Speaking to jade experts it was clear that most jade items, including Tikis, are much lower down the quality scale, and are referred to as a grade B, C or D. The solid green colour can only be produced by the addition of dye? This unbroken and even colour is not found in any stone or mineral in nature; the smoothness is created by permeating the stone with a polymer plastic, then using acids or other chemicals to round off the edges; and the very cheap jade items are composites, with a very thin jade front and a thicker plastic sheet backing. Or they are just highly polished (and shiny) plastic. During our search we were determined to find the very rare hetian jade just Google it and you? Ll see how rare and valuable it is! And we found one mine, in southern China, that produced it. We are proud to be the sole representative of this mine in Europe. Golden Era is very proud to have ignored the cheaper ways of producing the Tiki, and have given anyone that buys this valuable charm something that will delight for many years to come, and hold or increase in value. It can only be for one reason.. We have also added a metal ring, orientated so that when the Tiki is hanging around the neck, it lays perfectly flat against the skin at all times. The ring has also been thickened so is hard wearing and should last for many years. The Tiki is a M? Ori legend representing the first man. Ori society it was given to women who had trouble conceiving and has been used to ward off evil spirits. So please wear this as a good luck or fertility charm, or just because it? S attractive and genuine? We are absolutely sure it will bring pleasure for many years to come. We also guarantee one final thing, that all our Golden Era Tiki charms have never been worn by another person. Please note, we do not supply any chain or string/cord. The tiki comes in four sizes. Size 4 is much bigger, and cannot be worn as a necklace. It does not have a ring. We here at Golden Era think it best suited to be hung on a wall, placed on a mantelpiece, or desk, or besides a bed, or anywhere where it can’look-out’ over a room, warding off those evil spirits! It measures 100mm x 75mm x 25mm and weighs 180g. You will get the jade tiki in its own recycled box.
