Item: Original Large French Movie Poster Item Year: 1979. Size: 155cm x 116cm (61″ x 45 1/2″). Condition: Very Good to Excellent. The poster has a few larger pinholes along the border and a few tiny ones in the body of the poster which are pretty hard to see. The poster has slight foldwear and light wrinkling around the folds typical of large poster. For a large poster that is 45 years old it is in fantastic shape and if not for the pinholes would be graded excellent. Please refer to the photographs. This is a folded poster and will be sent as a flat item. This is one of those rare pieces that in researching it I couldn’t find much on it–there are no others for sale I could find. Vintage Kabar Union Cutlery 2 blade large folder that has a Hatchet blade. Knife needs cleaning, shows signs of use and wear, biggest flaw is handle is broken one side. So, pricing a piece like this is always difficult. What I won’t entertain are offers of 40-80% off (as a rule that just gets you blocked from our store) I try to be fair and work with people, but rare is rare.

Rare Very Large WW1 Artifact Sculpture

Please feel free to make an offer. A Scarce Example & Fresh to the Market. A Rare Very Large WW1 Obstacle artifact. This should really live in a Museum as these rarely come up for sale of this size. These were used to puncture & deflate pneumatic tires on motorized vehicles & prevent or reduce movement of the enemy. A relatively new addition to the WW1 battlefield. I believe they were also used for defense in sieges, where they could be thrown into breaches in fortifications to impede storming parties. This is approx 14 at its two longest points. Quite sculptural in its form. In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. There’s some expected historical damage of three spikes are missing however this is quite useful as it sits better where the spikes are missing. Made from wrought iron & rivetted together. It’s also had a gentle waxing. Please study the images as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Very Rare Large Vintage Kalamkari Hand Painting’the Life Story Of Lord Krishna

Kalamkari (Persian:????????) is a type of hand-painted cotton textile produced in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Only natural dyes are used in Kalamkari, which involves twenty-three steps. The first step in creating Kalamkari is steeping it in astringents and buffalo milk and then drying it under the sun. [15] Afterwards, the red, black, brown, and violet portions of the designs are outlined with a mordant and cloth are then placed in a bath of alizarin. [15] The next step is to cover the cloth, except for the parts to be dyed blue, in wax, and immerse the cloth in indigo dye. The wax is then scraped off and the remaining areas are painted by hand, [15] similar to Indonesian batik. To create design contours, artists use a bamboo or date palm stick pointed at one end with a bundle of fine hair attached to this pointed end to serve as the brush or pen. [16] This pen is soaked in a mixture of jaggery and water; one by one these are applied, then the vegetable dyes are added.
