Here we have a very rare milk pan. Milk pans always have the same distinctive form consisting of a prominent rolled rim, sloped sides and a flat bottom. Measuring 12 ¼ in diameter by 3 ½ in height the milk pan is in original mint condition with only glaze wear on the bottom. The color of this milk pan is a bright yellow. The potter left marks with his fingers on the sides and bottom when he was working the wet clay. This is a very rare yellow ware form you would be pleased to add to your collection.
